Press Start 3D Scan; confirm the red REC badge, red border, timer, and keyframe counter are visible.
Move slowly and keep each frame overlapping the previous frame by roughly 60–80%.
For a room, walk one smooth loop and capture corners, table/chair clusters, TV wall, projector, laptop area, and doorway.
For one object, orbit around it at two heights: normal height and slightly lower angle.
Keep lighting stable. Avoid blur, blank walls only, strong reflection, and sudden fast rotation.
Press One-click Generate 3D to see the map preview and readiness panel immediately on this same page.
For video-to-3D, load a video and press the same Generate button; it will extract keyframes first, then build the preview.

Simple workflow

1. Start 3D ScanCamera opens, red REC turns on, auto keyframes start, and video file recording starts when the browser supports it.

2. Walk slowlyKeep 60–80% overlap. Capture corners, table/chair clusters, TV wall, projector, laptop area, and doorway.

3. One-click Generate 3DStops recording, updates the Gaussian-splat-style 3D preview, checks readiness, and shows the result below without re-upload.

Optional final meshFor a real photogrammetry mesh, download the ZIP later and process it externally. The demo preview does not require that step.

Engineering note: One-click Generate 3D creates an immediate browser preview and readiness check from the captured frames. A final metric mesh still needs external photogrammetry, depth camera, stereo camera, or LiDAR processing, but the meeting-room demo no longer requires download/re-upload.
